Okay...it's Showtime!

Opening Ceremony was last night.  Our team did not get back until after 2 AM!  We stayed and watched some of it on TV since we race this afternoon - 4 AM Tucson time.

You can click on the Paralympic symbol on the top of the home page to go to www.athens2004.com (official website) for basic information.  Right now they have some great pictures there of the opening ceremony.  70,000 attended.  Sold out!  My sister Heather was there.  Saw her briefly yesterday.  She brought Glenn more coffee.  Ya hoo!

The word here in Athens is that the day pass tickets for the entire Paralympics have already sold out.  The Greeks are now coming to the Paralympics.  Local TV and newspaper is saying that demand is higher here in Greece for the locals since they were scared away by local media from the Olympics.  But now that they know there is little security threat...apparently they are attending Paralympics.  Yea!

Okay...on the LATEST NEWS section on home page are links to results on USOC pressbox and U.S. Paralympics websites.  We will have journal entry tonight (by Noon Saturday Tucson time).  We have a post-race massage scheduled first!

Okay...here we go!
